Spring Break is here in Paradise and Cobia season is wide open! We are gearing up for a busy Spring and Summer season here in Destin Florida. The 2019 Cobia World Championship kickoff begins March 29th at Harbor Docks Restaurant. This tournament lasts until May 6th. Cobia is one of the most popular fish in our Gulf waters. That's because Cobia fish are exciting to catch and their white meat makes a delicious dish. Fishing tournaments are always fun on the water and in the harbor. Don't miss the excitement.
Annual Cobia World Championship
The Annual Cobia World Championship is one of many fishing events hosted in our area. This year all the proceeds go to an awesome cause to benefit our area children with Take A Kid Fishing Day brought to us by Harbor Docks.
Take A Kid Fishing Day
In 2019 this organization will provide three hundred children chance to enjoy fishing. This takes place on the Gulf Of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay. Off duty policeman and firefighters will be volunteering to chaperone this event. If you know a child you would like to take part in this event, please contact Harbor Docks for more information. Reservations for Take A Kid Fishing Day will begin on Monday, October 1st.
